kulinda d. rollins
chief executive officer
Kulinda is our Chief Executive Officer. She is an innovative leader who is responsible for the executive operations and strategic growth of Focused Family Services. Kulinda has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Mental Health. She is highly skilled in Event Planning, Customer Service, Coaching, Entrepreneurship, and Team Building. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State Dominguez Hills University and is currently pursuing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Kulinda is highly passionate about helping underprivileged and underserved individuals.
Eric is our Clinical Director. He has his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Marywood University, and his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Wilkes University, both located in beautiful Northeastern Pennsylvania. He's an Arizona Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. He has many years of clinical experience in family therapy as well as substance abuse treatment. He trained extensively at the Philadelphia Child & Family Therapy Training Center which was founded by Salvador Minuchin, who is considered the father of Structural Family Therapy. Additionally, Eric has a great deal of experience in mental health treatment, in a variety of settings, ranging from outpatient to partial hospitalization. Eric also brings a robust educational background, having years of experience as a Staff Development Specialist and also as University faculty teaching multiple clinical graduate level courses. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Board for Certification of Addiction Counselors.
In his free time, Eric loves to socialize with friends, cook, and tackle home improvements projects around the house.

intake Specialist/ Counselor
Elayna has joined our team as an Intake Specialist and will also be working as part of our Clinical Team one of our Counselors. She has her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona as well as her Master's of Science Degree in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University. Prior to joining our team, Elayna was working as a Crisis Therapist helping members all around Arizona during times of crisis and getting them connected with various important community resources. Elayna has an extensive knowledge of many aspects within the field of Psychology and Counseling. She is a very outgoing person and strives to help others navigate through life and its many ups and downs.
During her free time, Elayna loves to spend time with her friends and family, cook, and travel around to those areas with amazing scenery.
Counseling team lead
Kim runs our IOP and Outpatient Substance Abuse groups in addition to her regular counseling caseload. She has been in the behavioral health field for over a decade, in such areas as working with those without shelter at the Lodestar Day Resource Center, running the family dining room at St. Vincent de Paul, assisting those diagnosed with blood cancers at the Arizona Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, running a heat respite program during the brutal Phoenix summers for those without shelter, and working with those in substance use treatment at various clinics around the valley (both inpatient and outpatient) including Calvary Healing Center, The River Source, and most recently, Community Medical Services. She is a U.S. Air Force veteran. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Social Work degree. In 2014, also at ASU, Kim earned a double Master's of Social Work and Master of Public Administration degrees. She's also taught at her alma mater.
Kim is open about her own mental health struggles and addictions, which led her to the counseling field. “My goal as a counselor is to help guide people as other people guided me by being along for their journey”.
In her free time, Kim enjoys cooking for family and friends, volunteering with community organizations including Free Mom Hugs and the Social Work Student Organization at ASU’s School of Social Work, reading a wide variety of topics, watching true crime documentaries, and most importantly, being a mother to two adult daughters.
Cinthia Montero MEndez
Along with her regular counseling caseload, Cinthia also runs Domestic Violence and Mindfulness groups, and is happy to be part of the awesome team at FFS. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology in Argentina, and her Master's Degrees in Professional Counseling, Human Resources, and Substance Abuse Counseling from Ottawa University, in Phoenix, Arizona. She has done her internships with individuals with serious mental illnesses, as well as a court ordered and general counseling population. Cinthia also has a background in education, having the experience of being a faculty at Universidad Adventista del Plata in Argentina, teaching in the area of psychology at the undergraduate level. She has been a counselor for college students, and has worked as part of the Staff in a Mental Health Department at a Sanatorium with an inpatient and outpatient population. Cinthia and her family immigrated to America a few years ago to assist the Hispanic Community for a non-profit organization, and worked assisting in the administration and organizing retreats for individuals, women, couples and families, as well as giving psychoeducational seminars and helping individuals and families when needed. Cinthia loves to be involved in the community, and currently supports a radio program giving talks every other week.
Cinthia enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, as well as being indoors. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and is very passionate about helping those she works with succeed in their personal challenges.
Having been in the field of behavioral health and counseling for 10 years I can understand that we all experience trauma and severe life stressors' that leave us feeling stuck and hopeless. Your crisis maybe a breakup, depression, relationship issues, anxiety, chronic illness, or something that is so overwhelming you are struggling with life. Often times we hold ourselves in bondage to the choices we have made. I believe some of life's most difficult experiences lead us to our greatest growth. I will give you the tools to move forward from past attachments that seem to keep you stagnate in your life. We will work to find what will bring you true happiness and stop the suffering you may feel.
I have experience with teens, adults, couples, and families. I am a holistic counselor using a person-centered approach in treatment. I understand how to guide you through the healing process by treating the whole person, mind-body, and spirit. I am excited to work with you and develop the tools you need to find balance in your life.
Treatment modalities primarily used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, and a Person-centered, Strength-based Approach. Specialties: Trauma/PTSD, Grief/Loss, Perinatal Mental Health (During Pregnancy & Postpartum), Fertility Issues, LGBTQA Issues, Cultural differences among African American Families, Marriage & Family Issues, Behavioral Health Coping for their friends & Families and Military Families and Veterans.

case management supervisor
Martha is our Case Management Supervisor and has been with us for many years. Martha has her Associate's Degree in Early Child Development. She started her career back in many years ago as a Preschool Teacher and moved on to Administrative Assistant in education. Martha has exceptional communication skills, and has a great deal of experience in supervising others. Martha is also bilingual to assist with our Spanish speaking population. Martha’s focus is to provide consistency and continuity of care to all of our members. Martha continues to attend many hours of clinical supervisions and trainings and is always very quick to assist other team members in whatever is needed, as well as offer sound advice that can directly benefit our members.
In Martha's spare time, she enjoys cooking, movies and traveling, and also spending plenty of time with her children and grandchildren.

D'Neil comes from an extensive background in behavioral health billing. She has worked in clinics providing outpatient as well as inpatient services, as well as in urgent care psychiatric centers. She enjoy the behavioral health setting very much. D'Neil has over 7 years of behavioral health billing as well as insurance and eligibility experience.
In her personal life, D'Neil is a very busy mom to two beautiful children (10-year-old Lilliana and 5-year-old Gabriel Jr.) D'Neil is also a dog mom to the cutest French Bulldog named Gordy. She also enjoys having date nights with her fiance Gabriel. In her down time, she's a homebody who loves to catch up on the many shows she watches. She's also slightly addicted to makeup and Starbucks.
